Pitch Perfect: Mariette Himes Gomez

This stunning home on the north shore of Long Island by interior designer  Mariette Himes Gomez and the architects, Kean Williams Giambertone is as close to perfect as I can imagine.  I love the old world turn of the century elegance. And I love Himes Gomez's decorating style.  Lots of white!  White walls, white upholstery, and dark wood furniture.  Any color is soft, subtle and muted. I think this gives the spaces a feeling of elegant serenity.
